How to convert .msg to PDF
- Choose the .msg files (up to 20), or drop them on the page.
- Check the message in the reading pane; with several, click a subject in the list.
- Choose the paper size and click Download PDF, or One PDF of the messages listed for all of them.
Saving as PDF
There are two ways, both on your device:
- Download PDF makes the PDF straight away: the subject, sender, recipients and date at the top, then the message text and the list of attachments. Long messages run over as many pages as they need. This PDF uses standard fonts, which cover English and Western European languages; other letters (Polish, Czech or Greek ones, Chinese, Arabic) and emoji print as “?”, and you are told when that happens.
- Print or save as PDF opens your browser’s print window with the message as it looks on screen, pictures included. Choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF on Windows) as the printer. This keeps the layout and every alphabet.
With several messages, One PDF of the messages listed puts them all in one file, each starting on a new page. Search first to include only some of them.
Outlook messages kept as rich text
Outlook often keeps a message’s formatting only in its own compressed rich text, with no HTML copy. The converter unpacks it: messages that were written in HTML get their formatting back, and plain rich-text messages their words and paragraphs.
Private by design
Nothing is uploaded. The files are read by your browser on your device, and pictures from the web inside a message are not loaded, so the sender can’t tell the message was opened.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need Outlook to convert .msg to PDF?
No. The converter reads the .msg file itself, in your browser, on any computer or phone.
Can I convert many .msg files to one PDF?
Yes. Choose them all and use One PDF of the messages listed. Each message starts on a new page.
Are attachments included?
Their names and sizes are listed at the end of each message. Save the files themselves from the reading pane, one by one or all as a .zip.
Why do some characters show as “?” in the PDF?
The quick PDF uses the standard PDF fonts, which cover English and Western European languages; letters of other languages and emoji print as “?”. Use Print or save as PDF to keep every letter and the layout.
Is the message uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your device.
